DOES GOLD-PLATED STAINLESS STEEL TARNISH?

Yes, anything plated will eventually tarnish over time and wear, however the stainless steel base will help to slow the process significantly.

As much as you can try to avoid contact with harsh chemicals, liquids, perfumes and other substances. The best way to keep your jewelry glowing is to give it some love from time to time.

We highly recommend to clean your jewls and gems with a soft cloth and store it in your madoucechérie box.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE that any surface treatments will fade and be worn off with frequent wear. This is normal and not a reason for a concern. The surfaces on items which are in contact with skin like rings and bracelets will fade faster due to contact with sweat, lotion, perfume or any other fluids.
